Yorkshire Air Ambulance Fundraising.

Wakeylele Band was the recipient of a framed certificate from Yorkshire Air Ambulance in September acknowledging the band’s fundraising efforts so far this year after their latest performance raised £300 to add to the current total of £2,793.32
All the band members agree it’s been a joy to perform at a variety of venues and raise funds at the same time.

One may seek to quibble at the unfortunate (mis) spelling of the instrument’s name but, in my view, this in no way detracts from the actual bestowing of this certificate or the immense feeling of pride in our achievements in support of this most worthy of causes.
My sincere thanks to all members of the band for their unstinting support over the last couple of years. I hope you have enjoyed making music together and we can go on supporting the YAA for some time to come. It is most rewarding to find that our (relatively small) contributions have not gone unnoticed.
